Liitu Software was founded on a simple belief: teachers deserve better tools. Too much educational software is heavy, cluttered, expensive, or built to collect data rather than to help. We wanted to build the opposite — lightweight tools that do one thing well, work offline, and keep every piece of information firmly in the teacher's hands.
The idea grew directly out of classroom experience, from seeing how much time is lost to systems that were supposed to help. Wherever they teach and whatever they teach, educators share the same challenge: too much time spent on administrative work, and too little left for the students themselves. Our software exists to shift that balance back. Teaching is demanding work that matters everywhere in the world, and the people who do it deserve software made with care and respect.
We design tools that are simple, focused and genuinely useful — built around real classroom work rather than added complexity. Everything runs on your own device: no cloud, no accounts, no AI services in the background, and no learning curve that gets in the way. A tool should feel obvious within minutes, and quietly save you time every day after that. We build slowly and carefully, and each new tool is small and purposeful — more are on the way, all guided by the same principles: respect the teacher's time, respect the students' privacy, and stay easy to use.
Privacy isn't a feature we added; it's how our software is built. Liitu Software's tools collect no personal data and send nothing to us or to any third party. Everything you create stays only on your own device.
There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. Data leaves your device only when you actively choose to export or share a file, and even then it goes only where you send it. You can clear all local data at any time.
When our tools are used to handle personal data such as student information, your school or education provider is the data controller under applicable law, and teachers process that information as part of their work. We encourage you to enter only what your task genuinely requires and to follow your own organisation's privacy policy. Because our software keeps everything local, you stay fully in control.
